Burglary Years Debut LP ‘100 Roses’ Record Release Show Announced



Disposable America recently announced that indie rock / dream pop band Burglary Years is set to release their debut LP ‘100 Roses’ digitally and on cassette tape this July. To celebrate, a record release show is scheduled at The Democracy Center in Harvard Square on July 17th with synth pop band Teenender, the one-man drum extravaganza that has been recently blowing everyone away, Chrome Over Brass, and 2014 Boston Music Awards "Punk Artist of the Year", the band that makes you feel feelings, The Hotelier. All of the yeses.

The show has a $5-10 donation and is all ages.

Boston Goes To FEST 14



The expansive lineup for FEST 14, the country's premier punk festival happening October 30, 31 and November 1, was announced last night, highlighting the widespread reach of national and international bands. This year, bands range from local Gainesville, FL acts to European artists and even representatives from Slam Diego Punkifornia (someone get us a T-shirt with this stat!) and Hell.

Migrating down south will be several heart-on-sleeve, DIY, O'Brien's finest Boston bands including Choke Up, The Color and Sound, Foreign Tongues, The Hotelier, Lady Bones, Lenny Lashley's Gang of One and Rebuilder.

Start planning your road trip itinerary. FEST passes go on sale June 1st.

The Hotelier Press Debut Record + Tour All Over The Damn Place

Grab the first pressing of The Hotelier's debut record now.

Did you know The Hotelier, at the time The Hotel Year, had a record before Home, Like Noplace Is There? True story. Originally released in 2011, their debut full-length It Never Goes Out was unfortunately kept in label limbo in regards to a proper physical release, but now current label Tiny Engines has made all your emo hearts explode with the announcement of a proper vinyl pressing!

Your 2014 Punk Artist of the Year Award Goes To...

Congratulations to The Hotelier for taking home the "Punk Artist of the Year" Boston Music Award last night at the Revere Hotel. Home, Like No Place Is There is a great record, Tiny Engines is a fantastic label. The band sells out rooms, they play all ages shows for the kids. Deserved win. (Whether or not they even knew of their involvement in this year's BMAs).

And congratulations to St. Louis' Foxing, co-headlining band during The Hotelier's 2014 summer tour, for making their debut BMA appearance...


Because that's not The Hotelier.
