How I almost became a Food Truck Groupie.
Last Saturday we ate our weight in food truck food at the
New England Food Truck Fest on the Charles River. It truly was a fat kid moment.
And I kind of wish we could do it again...every day.
First of all, I would like to thank the (garden police) Park
Rangers for not letting us park in any of the public lots along the Charles.
Parking my brand new car behind a construction site in Lower Allston made me
only slightly paranoid but the 1 mile walk to and from the festival was
probably a good thing in retrospect, due to our massive caloric intake.
Grilled cheeses all over my face
We've been diehard Roxy's Grilled Cheese fans far before
Food Channel Network's The Great Food Truck Race, and naturally gravitated to
them.

Trying something new, the following trucks also blew our
minds.
Basically the reason we went to Food Truck Fest
With enough tickets left to buy three out of the four available whoopie
pies, The Whoo(pie) Wagon presented the hardest decision of the day by far.
Decision made. And they're all mine
If one of these caravans of deliciousness parks in your backyard, please
go. I thoroughly enjoyed stuffing my face and going back for fifths and sixths.
However, you may go into withdrawals like I did and demand whoopie pies and
grilled cheeses for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the next week or so.

Oh and we made a cameo in the Food Truck Fest recap video. See some sexy people walking around at mark 2:20.
