Rock Out With Your Cocktail Out Vol. V

"Ladies, I don't usually drink liquor when I got out, but I need a gin and tonic, like right now," said more than one of my friends on multiple occasions. However way you justify it, after a long week, stop making tough decisions and go for a reliable cocktail. Then press play on your November Spotify playlist and chill the fuck out. Also grab your free Paper + Plastick fall sampler download, available for a limited time. Advice and free stuff, I'm your best friend.

Two Are Better Than One

Okay I'll admit it, I have a thing for two-piece bands.

Maybe there is an influx in duos, or maybe I just prefer the intimate stage presence, but lately it's been pointed out to me that if there are just two members in the band, I'll probably like them.

Social Faux Pas

I was on a social faux pa roll this weekend. Between staring blankly at acquaintances I ran into at the pumpkin patch (sorry guys), to introducing myself to someone I've met several times before, I pretty much win the spaz award.

Rock Out With Your Cocktail Out Vol. IV

Rumor has it, due to a less than adequate harvest this year, the price of apple cider will rise. Better stock up if you want to make the October Rock Out With Your Cocktail out drink, Sparkling Chambord Cider. Awesome playlist availability not affected by bad apples.

Spring 2013 Peek into Punk

Talk to a twenty-something with a mohawk, band t-shirt, karabiner with at least 15 keys, and full sleeve and he'll probably be able to tell you which bar sells PBR, or explain that although his band sounds precisely like Fugazi, it's it's own thing man. But he probably won't know who Steven Cox and Daniel Silver of Duckie Brown are or think his DIY studded belt belongs in a museum. Until now, but on his own terms, because he will rebel if you force him.
