WMBR's Pipeline Has A Special Announcement to Make

WMBR's Pipeline scheduled to play a special broadcast at a special time

WMBR’s Pipeline, a weekly two-hour broadcast dedicated to unearthing the “newest and localest” tunes New England has to offer, broadcasted from the MIT campus and hosted by the man, the myth, the legend, DJ Jeff Breeze, has a special announcement to make.

The locals only time slot launched its very own Twitter account just in time to relay the message that it will be taking over the college radio airwaves an hour early tomorrow, January 28th 7:00pm, in order to rebroadcast Uncle Tupelo’s live WMBR performance circa 1991 to coincide with Sony Legacy’s announcement to reissue a deluxe edition of the Belleville, IL folk rock band’s debut 1990 album No Depression.

The show will continue into the eight o’clock hour with new local music and a live performance by Gem Club. Visit Pipeline’s official website for the full story. WBMR can be heard locally at 88.1 FM, online and via iTunes app.
