| Make your own watermelon beer with Perpetually Hungry's recipe. |
When it’s hot, humid and Henry, and you just can’t manage two fucks, there’s always new music and a cold cocktail. Coast through August with The Lonely Biscuits (TN), coming to Great Scott 8/16, All Dogs (OH) playing with Save Ends and Fucko at O’Brien’s Pub on 8/24, new music from local band Bellwire and a watermelon beer.
Watermelon Beer

- 2-4 White Beers or Wheat Beers, I used Shock Top
Place the watermelon chunks in your blender. Puree until smooth, then pour into a sifter over a bowl. Strain until only the juice is left and there is no pulp -chill for at least an hour. Fill a glass with the beer and pour the watermelon juice on top. Serve and press play immediately.
