Sidewalk Driver Premieres New Music Video

Watch out basic bitches, Sidewalk Driver has a new music video.

This song. Playing every time I enter a room.

Quick question, can Tad teach my how to apply false eye lashes? Glamorous, fabulous, and anything but basic, Boston’s power pop rock band has released a new music video for the title track from their upcoming second full-length album, My Face. Follow Tad as he builds a glam army in a quest to take over the world. Or probably just to have some people to dance around him.

Experience Sidewalk Driver during their record release show (presented by Indie Rock Ranger) on January 17th at The Sinclair in Harvard Square, Cambridge with The Organ Beats (also releasing their latest album), Worshipper (featuring members of Township, Mellow Bravo, The Dirty Truckers, and Cult 45) and Leo*Leo. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in advance here.

You can also pre-order My Face for $15 via the band’s Pledge Music site now.

Home, Like No Place Is There is a great record, Tiny Engines is a fantastic label. The band sells out rooms, they play all ages shows for the kids. Deserved win. And congratulations to St. Louis' Foxing, co-headlining band during The Hotelier's 2014 summer tour, for making their debut BMA appearance...

4 Bands and 1 Rockin Holiday Flea Market to See in December

Support local music, go to a show.

So successful in October, we’re doing it again! What any self-respecting music lover will tell you is, “you gotta see the live show man.” Spontaneous, interactive, at some points vastly different from the recordings, you can’t have a true opinion about a band until you catch them live. Also cocktails, mingling and sometimes fancy outfits. Here are 4 bands and 1 rockin holiday flea market to see before the end of December.
